A day in the life of Scott, Core Systems Developer

On a typical day, I usually come into the office with a good idea of what projects/tasks I need to complete. I work on a variety of applications and platforms for web services developed in-house. Sometimes my plans are put on hold in order to troubleshoot production issues or assist other areas of IT with their respective projects. Every day is different; the only thing that stays the same is I try to learn something new!

Day in the life of Tommy, Insurance Agent

I try to get to work a couple minutes early so I can set up my system, go through email, and check my calendar to see if I have any meetings for that day or any customers that I need to call. When that first call comes in I am all business. I snap to attention and turn on the charm. My primary goal for every day is obviously to bind as many policies as I can. However, I also seek to educate any potential customers on auto insurance, and more importantly on Elephant Insurance as a whole. While I may not sell a policy to every customer I talk to on the phone, hopefully I've left them with a good impression of myself and Elephant and have planted a seed that will lead to a potential policy down the road.

In November 2010, Elephant Auto Insurance became the happy adoptive parents of Gypsy. We are all overjoyed to welcome Gypsy into our herd, and look forward to hopefully visiting her at the PAWS Sanctuary in Galt, California.
